Fast Cash for Remotes is a leading North American purchaser of new and used OEM remotes.
What do you do with the remotes?
After we purchase the remotes, we refurbish them, make sure they are in good working condition and then sell them to wholesale distributors, locksmiths.
Who does Fast Cash buy from?.
Our customers include, but not limited to: New/Used Car Dealerships, tow companies, repo companies, insurance companies, salvage yards, auto auctions, and any place that has access to quantities of overstock vehicle remotes.
How long is the process?
This is a question we get asked a lot!!! Once we receive the key fobs, we try our best to check them in and contact you on the day they are delivered. Please keep in mind that we receive multiple boxes on a daily basis and sometimes they can be delayed a day or two. After acceptance, PayPal is made within 48 hours and checks are mailed within 3-5 business days.
How do I register for an account?
The process is easy, simply click here, or select CREATE ACCOUNT on our homepage to create your account. Once approved, a representative will contact you with more information. Then you can sell your remotes
Why do I need to register?
We require our customer register for an account for a couple reasons. First is to have all the information we need to process your orders FAST and get you paid. Second is for you to be able to log in to view our pricing and manage your account to ensure all information is up to date and accurate.
Why do I need an account?
At Fast Cash for Remotes, we ask that you create an account so we can have all the information we need to complete your transaction FAST. In addition, our pricing is available online to our registered customers so they can see what we are paying for remotes prior to sending them in.
When can I log in to my account?
Once your account is approved, you will have 24/7 access to your account from your laptop or mobile device.
What are the benefits of having an account?
There are many benefits to having an account with Fast Cash for Remotes. You will have access to every order you have sent us on your account dashboard. You can log in to view the status of your order. You will see when it gets checked in, and once its completed you will be able to see when the payment was issued. If PayPal, you'll see the date it was made, if Check, you'll see the date it was sent along with the tracking number.
What products do you purchase?
We purchase new/used OEM vehicle remotes/key fobs from all makes. Pretty much every remote has a value. If not, we will send them back to you or recycle them.
How do I find my remote to sell?.
We have every remote that we are purchasing listed on the website. You can search by Make, Type, FCC# to find the remote you have and simply add it to your sell cart and complete the check out process. In the event you are unable to find the remote you have listed, please contact us and we will let you know if we aren't purchasing it or get it added to the list.
What if there's no battery?
Having a battery doesn't affect the pricing of your remote/key fob. All remotes/key fobs will receive a new battery during the refurbishing process.
What if the ignition key is missing or broken?
The ignition key, valet key, and/or key blades have no bearing on the price. All remots/key fobs will receive new uncut blades during the refurbishing process. Any blades that we receive will be recycled.
What remotes are worth the most?
Typically late model smart keys are worth the most. Flip Keys and Remote Head keys are worth the second most. Remotes are worth the least. Any questions you have regarding pricing, please reach out to us. we look forward to purchasing your remotes/key fobs.
What are the hot deals?
Hot deals are the remotes/key fobs that are in high demand during a specific time period that we are paying more for. You can view the current hot deals here, or sign up for our newsletter to get the monthly email.
How do I ship to you?
We offer prepaid shipping labels via USPS or UPS for orders of 20 or more remotes/key fobs. You can email your representative to receive a label or click here to fill out the form and your representative will email you the label.
Do you offer prepaid labels from Canada?
Unfortunately we can only offer prepaid shipping labels for our US customers. Our Canadian customers will be responsible for their own shipping. We will reimburse up to $20 for shipping costs.
How do I prepare my shipment?
We highly suggest putting your remotes/key fobs in a bag or bags within the box and taping every corner of the box prior to shipping. Delivery services and automatic packaging distribution centers can easily damage boxes and/or puncture holes in them. We are not liable for missing remotes/key fobs during the shipping process.
What kind of box should I use?
If sending via USPS, please use the correct flat rate box that is provided at your local post office. These are free boxes. If the wrong box is used, or you use your own box, your shipment will not be delivered on time and extra costs will be incurred.
If sending via UPS, you can use your own box. We recommend using plain brown corrugated boxes that are not branded. When filling out the form, be sure to include the dimensions and approximate weight. We will need that to produce the shipping label.
Again, we strongly recommend placing your remotes inside of bags within the box and taping every corner.
What do you do with the ones you aren't buying?
We pretty much purchase every remote/key fob. Although we cannot purchase remotes/key fobs that hold no value. These are typically aftermarket, old/obsolete, damaged beyond repair and/or locked products. In the event we have received any, we will gladly send them back to you at no extra charge. If you do not want them returned, we will recycle them.
